Personal Research
I am interested in all facets of attitude research, but the majority of my attitude research has fallen into two major areas. Specifically, I am interested in determining the role cognitive structural and process features play in the development of attitude strength related beliefs. My second major line of research involves understanding the role of structural features of attitudes on attitude-behaviour consistency.
A second major area of research I am interested in is that of social memory. Specifically, I am interested in how social biases affect memory and how inaccuracies in social memory can be identified. Thus, I am interested in social memory for semantic information as well as episodic information.
